General description. Type Seeker (ILE, Don Quixote, ENTP)

1. Sees new prospects well. Big inventor: he always has a lot of new ideas and projects. Interested in everything in the hope of finding something unique. Past achievements are treated with disdain. He does what he is interested in, and not what guarantees real returns.

2. Thinks a lot inside himself, looking for patterns in the phenomena. Quite absent-minded and often loses small items. His logic can seem paradoxical to others. He is not afraid to go against the established opinion if he considers it outdated. Seeks to make a major invention or discovery.

3. Compliant in matters of everyday life and everyday needs. Attempts by anyone to subordinate them to a strict routine are actively resisted. Despite the fact that he is busy looking for alternatives to boring everyday life in difficult everyday situations, he shows ingenuity and quickness. You can't reason with him using the language of force.

4. Poorly senses interpersonal distances (how psychologically close or distant he is) with another. He tries to be equally friendly with everyone. Ensures that in a conversation the partner is interested in what he has to say. In communication, he is accessible and democratic. He needs periodic emotional shocks and disruptions because routine causes his mood to drop.

Of the external signs of ILE, first of all, the figure and posture draw attention to themselves. The figure is long and thin. The body parts are also elongated. This is especially evident in the length of the legs and fingers on the hands. If the logical component is strengthened in the type, then this feature is not expressed so clearly. The ILE is characterized by a characteristic stooped posture with the upper part of the body bending forward in the manner of the Latin letter "S". However, the head does not bend forward. ILEs often have protruding or elongated noses that draw attention to themselves. Sometimes it even seems that he is sniffing at something.

During a conversation, he likes to twirl something in his hands, such as a pen, and he often breaks this object. When walking, or when talking enthusiastically about something, he gestures and flaps his arms like a windmill with his wings. If the intuitive component is enhanced in the ILE, the external signs are somewhat different. He is characterized by a sloping chin, smoothly passing into the neck, and also a protruding upper jaw. The intuitive ILE subtype is much less quick in their movements compared to the logical one.

ILE's eyes are very blurry, as if looking through a fog, hardly noticing what is happening around them. They are very cold, being completely devoid of emotion and passion. Regarding clothing, it should be said that in connection with the features of the figure of the ILE, clothes almost always fit them poorly: sagging, sliding, buttons having fallen off, etc. This manifests itself the more vividly the more the intuitive component is enhanced.

The ILE does not know how to keep the right distance in communication for a long period of time. Sometimes he is friendly with a person, and then on the contrary he is hostile and shows a bad attitude. He is absolutely not well versed in the attitude of people towards him. Therefore, he often makes mistakes in making acquaintances. In communication, he often behaves unceremoniously; can tactlessly interfere in the conversation. He likes to look at everything, not paying attention to the reaction of people. Never admits his guilt. Even if he formally apologizes, he will still continue to behave in the same way as before. He puts forward far-reaching and often unrealistic plans. After a while, he forgets about them and offers something completely different, almost logically unrelated to the previous plan, but not less grandiose.

He treats past achievements with disdain. He is interested in and talks about all the unusual things from any field. He is attracted to all the latest theories: psychics, yoga, auras, UFOs-everything that cannot be explained from the point of view of logic and common sense. He cannot always explain his ideas logically, for they are often intuitive and vague in nature. Most people cannot understand them, either believing or not believing in them. At the same time, he offers the most radical solutions.

Features of Behavior. Type Seeker (ILE, Don Quixote, ENTP)

The main feature of his behavior, according to which we can confidently assume that he belongs to this sociotype, is a tendency for significant distraction and scatteredness. The ILE tends to leave items where he used them last, losing small items as a result. In the workplace and in his personal belongings, he is often a mess. He forgets what has already been done and what has not yet been done. Despite this, he is able to show the necessary resourcefulness and ingenuity in everyday affairs, extracting some benefit from everyone. This activity is sometimes similar to being a combinator or schemer in the spirit of Ostap Bender, because of which he can be considered cunning and quirky. In the intuitive subtype, this quality is much less pronounced.

He does not know how to do a lot of things at once at a quick pace. He often delays the completion of uninteresting work until the last moment. Being pressed for time really spurs him on: he manages to do all the accumulated tasks in a short time, although the quality of work suffers because of this. Another significant feature in his behavior is his ability to mobilize his capabilities in extreme situations. If strong-willed pressure is exerted upon him, he then switches to a counterattack. Moreover, the response may be stronger, and in such situations, it can sometimes reach the point of physical force.

Another feature that clearly characterizes this sociotype is the introduction of an element of chaos, disorder, and negation into any business that he is practically engaged in. This is especially evident against the background of well-established teams with strict discipline. This is what he does creatively: by destroying, he creates. Supporters of his intuitive ideas often begin to group around him. In extreme cases, this tendency can manifest itself in the form of a real “tilt at the windmills” response, or in the form of an open challenge to everyone with a clear lack of chance of success.
